TIE now offers a Liquid Resistant Coating (LRC) to help prolong the life of your FANUC CNC servo motor. This value-added service utilizes our proprietary coating technology and has been throroughly tested and is IP67 compliant. If you have a servo motor that is prone to excessive failures, it may be beneficial to try LRC.

TIE Liquid Resistant Coated motors have passed the IP67 Waterproofing Test (NEMA Rating 6).

IP67 Standard created by the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission): Ingress of water in harmful quantity shall not be possible when the enclosure is immersed in water under defined conditions of pressure and time (up to 1 meter of submersion for 30 minutes).
