How to Install a Fanuc A06B-6073 or A06B-6079 Servo Module

6073 and 6079 S1/S2 Jumpers

If the drive is not operating correctly, please check the S1/S2 jumpers shown below. Incorrect setting can cause not ready alarms (dash on drive) or high current alarms (alarm 8 or 9 on drive).

  • S1 is for type A interface where the encoder cable goes back to control.
  • S2 is for type B interface where the encoder cable goes to the drive

Note: There is no S1/S2 jumper on the three axis 6079 series (A06B-6079-H3XX).
